Power cruise 2010

Mark from "MRC" debuted his newly built HR31 VH45TT Skyline out to play along with a host of friends to "Power cruise" at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney recently.

All the cars preformed very well and everybody had a fantastic time.

MRC Skyline V8 Twin turbo HR31 Skyline (VH45TT) Update:

The MRC HR31 VH45TT Skyline is now running with Mark busy spending time mapping the new Adaptronic E1280S ECU on the Dyno.

The first run with the twin waste gates set to just 4.5 PSI boost resulted in an amazing 270 Rwkw's. Pretty impressive when you consider that was basically a rough start up tune to get the car running and mobile.

Once the mapping is done and boost goes up who knows how much power it will end up with.

# Quick update - The motor has just made 310rwkw's @ 6psi. #

The new MRC Holden "SSV" Sports wagon hits the drags.

The MRC Sport wagon has has returned to WSID "The Creek" for "Wicked Wednesday"

The best run for the night was 13.206 @ 106.46MPH

The only mod's are:

Full exhaust system including ceramic coated extractors, twin stainless substrate hi flow cats and dual 3' pipes with extra center resonators and to finish it off stainless quad tips.
A custom VCM Suite Dyno Tune preformed by MRC Dyno
The car is currently making 252 Killawasps! Up from the factory spec of 218KW

The new MRC SSV V8 Sports wagon went to WSID with only 350km's on the clock for some for some baseline runs in totally std form. A lot of fun was had and we ran the following times:

  • 1st run 14.0 @ 101.21mph
  • 2nd run 13.9 @101.65mph
  • 3rd run 13.8 @ 102.62mph

The mod's and development have already begun, so far we have done the following work:

  • Full exhaust system including ceramic coated extractors, twin stainless substrate hi flow cats and dual 3' pipes with extra center resonators and to finish it off stainless quad tips.

This should make an improvement to the time slips, we are planning on making another trip to WSID soon to test out the new found performance.
