MRC Skyline V8 Twin turbo HR31 Skyline (VH45TT) Update:

The MRC HR31 VH45TT Skyline is now running with Mark busy spending time mapping the new Adaptronic E1280S ECU on the Dyno.

The first run with the twin wastegates set to just 4.5 PSI boost resulted in an amazing 270 Rwkw's. Pretty impressive when you consider that was basically a rough start up tune to get the car running and mobile..

Once the mapping is done and boost goes up who knows how much power it will end up with..

# Quick update, power is now up to 310Rwkw's @ 6psi #

Are you in a car club or forum and wish to organise a club dyno day?

MRC Dyno has successfully run many dyno days for car clubs.

  • State of the art Dyno Dynamics 2wd Dyno with shootout software and accredited operator.
  • Drinks and BBQ will be available to buy on the day.
  • The ability to allow club members to watch the car in action on the dyno with a special viewing area and monitor for power readouts.
  • Plenty of room for group car photos and general parking.
  • Professionally run and organised to make it a fun event for you and your club.
  • Minimum of 10 cars, three power runs per car

MRC'S Latest Project:

HR31 VH 45 Twin Turbo.

Mark @ MRC is busy constructing a new project car for himself, a HR31 (Private Import) 2 Door Skyline fitted with a Nissan Infiniti V8 4.5 Litre motor fed by twin turbo's.

Estimated power upon startup will be 300RWKW's but not for long.

The new MRC Holden "SSV" Sportswagon hits the drags.

The MRC Sportwagon has has returned to WSID "The Creek" for "Wicked Wednesday"

The best run for the night was 13.206 @ 106.46MPH

The only mods are:

  • Full exhaust system including ceramic coated extractors, twin stainless substrate hi flow cats and dual 3' pipes with extra centre resonators and to finish it off stainless quad tips.
  • A custom VCM Suite Dyno Tune preformed by MRC Dyno
  • The car is currently making 252 Killawasps! Up from the factory spec of 218KW

LPG (Liquid Injected) will have huge performace potential for high performance cars, especially turbo cars due to the higher octane rating LPG offers with up to 20% better economy and power.

Coupled with lower fuel costs and the goverment LPG rebate makes this alternative fuel option very attractive for the performance enthusiast.

Mitusbishi express van turbo kits

MRC has been working on the popular Mitsubishi express vans for a long time, one thing we have noticed is their serious lack of power when loaded with tools.

This is why we have developed a bolt on turbo and fuel injection kit for the 16V 2.0 carby version. more....
